2015: Class of 2016 Sydney

Awww sweet Sidney!   Sidney is a senior at Lake Center Christian School.  During her fall soccer season she broke her hand.  So she's hiding her cast in these shots.

When the cast came off, we shot a few more of her in her uniform.   She is thinking of doing some mnissionary work after high school.

2015: The White Sisters

Sometimes you don't have to go far to find the perfet location.  We just hopped into the back yard of the White sisters! Perfect lighting as well I might add!

2015: Happy 75th Birthday Mr. Kemper

Meet the Kemper Family, all 20 of them spread out between Canton and Chicago. Three daughters and a son along with their families all came together to celebrate Mr. Kemper's 75th birthday.

They picked a fun filled weekend as the Jackson Festival was going on as well. They snuck across the street, away from the rides, sweet treats, and bright lights to capture some family moments. What an honor that I was asked to be a part of it

2015: The Bachs

Here is Carter and his sister Amelia. She was excited for a few pictures, and Carter wasn't so sure! After just a few minutes, Carter hopped on his bike and the smiles followed. Sometimes you just have to let the kid be a kid. Amelia just spun around and flashed those baby blues at me. 

Mom Heidi is just about the sweetest thing. I met her mutual friends years ago and always run into her at the grocery, Target, garage sales, karate class, you name it. Dad Brent is a dentist a Buckeye Dental in Jackson Township. I highly recommend this practice, their dentists and staff. I have worked with them professionally taking their Dentists' photos as well for the office.

2015: Class of 2016 Adam

So I first heard all about Senior Adam from his girlfriend Alissa.  You may remember her from here.  He is everything she said, nice, sweet, polite, and kind. Adams plays football and lacrosse for Jackson High School.

2015: Taylor Sisters

 Perfect evening summer light brough such beauty to these two sisters!

Ally has been entering modeling contests with her dance competitions.  Last year she won first place with a photo I took of her! This was a profile shot for this year's entries.

2015: Andrew JHS Class of 2016

 Andrew, Jackson High School Class of 2016.   He's a band kid, which I love of course.  He's also headed to the University of Cincinnati!   Andrew was just a nice young man with great manors.

Natalie always loves to help her mom and I get ready for book fair every year. She's as cute as a button!

2015: Happy 10th Birthday Lillian

This little lady has been lucky enough to have her birthday photos take outside of Ohio the last few years. For her sixth birthday, it was Santa Barbara, California and her ninth birthday in Santa Ynez Valley, California.   Lily turned TEN in July and we left for vacation a day later.   How could I not try to take her photos while we were in the Florida Keys!   I have learned my lesson and will now and forever always take her pictures the first nice evening when we are gone.  I missed some gorgeous sunsets.  Then it was too windy, then cloudy but nice.  So that's what we ended up with.

Lily is amazing.  She's my daughter and of course I have to say that, but really she is.  She's super intellectual, curious, sweet, and kind.  And there is still a very silly side to her seriousness. Sometimes, I can hardly keep up with her dad and her with their topics of conversation.  This smarty pants had straight A's all year; participated in 4-H; took riding lessons; joined the fifth grade band as a percussionist; tried Girls on the Run team for the first time and ran a 5k; made new friends,; had major oral surgery after a dreadful scooter accident; was nominated for Ohio Children's Honor's Choir Camp at Otterbien University, went to sailing and band camp, took Spanish lessons, and collected over 280 children's books for the Aultman Foundation.  Amazing right?

We are a little weepy as we embark on a new chapter for Miss Lily.  She is starting middle school next week, sixth grade.  We can hardly believe it.  Stay little, sweet, and our fidget forever please!

2015: Baby Jack 9 days new

Aww there is nothing like the smell and softness of a newborn.  I will be the first to admit, I am totally intimidated by newborns...not caring for them but photographing them. This is Mr. Jack, just 9 days new.  He was a tiny thing and didn't fuss at all. I was honored to catch a few shots of his first days on this earth.

Jack's nursery was calm and peaceful, beautiful grays, blues, and greens.

2015: Isabella is 10

 Doesn't Isabella look like a fairy?  This was our last shot and all about her! Her neighbor had this great upper garden and she was dying to get up there.  So pretty!

I have had the pleasure of photographing sweet Isabella for several years now.  The bottom right portrait looks just like her mama!  Isabella is just a kind, caring and adorable young lady!

2015: the Kim Family

The best shots tend to be the last, it's happened many times and for many reasons. The Kim Family changed locations at the last minute to avoid the oncoming storm, we hurried, and during this last shot above, the rain drops were coming down. Just three minutes after getting better in our cars, it downpoured. Mom Erica found these great shirts for everyone. Best friends with her husband Kwang, who also matched daughter Ella. Ella was paired up with her big brother Andrew. Years and states apart, these two have a bond. Andrew brought her girlfriend Kala into town to meet the family and of course they matched. Have  I mentioned that I love a theme?

2015: Miss Katie

Hello Katie! Her mo wanted her to do something just for her and just for fun! How awesome is that? Katie is a Sophomore at JHS and she made the cheer squad! 

She is kind, loving and has a great smile! 

Can't wait to see her at the football games in the fall. 

2015: Aubrey is 2!

 Sweet Aubrey is the daughter of my daughter Lily's teacher.  Lily has had Aubrey's mom the last two years and has just adored her.  We can say the same about this little one!  She had a great time just playing and hanging out with Lily during her photo shoot!
