2019: David & Amanda's Engagement

Amanda and David had such a fun location picked out for their engagement session.  The beautiful Garden of the Roses in Columbus worked out perfectly.

David enteretained all of Amanda's ideas so we had to incorporate a little hunting into the photos.

Can't wait for the wedding in 2020!

2018: Rice Wedding

The Bride Madeline
I will be the first to admit that I am not a wedding photographer. I feel like that is a specialty all on it's own. With that said, I had two friends getting married this year and really asked a big favor to shoot their weddings.  This bride, Madeline and I grew up together.  Our dad's were in the Army together, family vacations, boating trips, her sister is one of my best friends.  I said yes of course.  View their engagement photos here.
Ryan and his children, Madison, Erika, and Jaxon.

Ryan and Madeline were married at her sister's property in Holmes County.  There was lots of land,  a couple of ponds, and lots of corn fields in the background.  The first weekend in  October you never know what the weather may bring. It rained that week, but the sun came out and it was HOT.

It was a fun day and so happy to be a part of it.  Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Rice!

2018: DeRosa/Hollis Wedding Part 1

I was so very honored with my friend and client Becky asked me to photograph her wedding.  I am not a wedding photographer and do not inspire to be one. There are so many details and so much pressure to get everything perfect.   However, this was a special case, and I was thrilled to have the experience.

You would probably recognize Becky and Dutch from family photos I have taken herehere, here and here.  The wedding was very intimate held at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens.  Beautiful June day and you'd never know that it rained all morning!

First, the beautiful bride Becky.

The Groom, David, or Dutch as his friends call him.
The ceremony: The couple had the idea to make a 10 year time capsule.  They each, along with their four children, added something into the capsule that signified something of importance to them at the time.

The reception was at Twisted Olive.  Snapped one last photo of the new Mr. & Mrs. Hollis.
Stay tuned for Part 2: The family
